the staff was very friendly and helpful at this quiet and clean resort.
The shower was quite poor. I couldn't control the temperature at all! it constantly switched between hot and freezing cold, this was not fun. there were also cockroaches visiting us . That really made my skin crawl.

The shower had issues. Temperature control was difficult and erratic. cockroaches were also present. cleanliness under the beds was clearly lacking, boxes of tampons from previous guests were found. these issues affected my experience, even if the staff was helpful.

i liked using this hotel as my base for many activities. i walked to the beginning of the seven hanging valleys trail in about ten minutes heading east. the views are lovely. i could walk ten minutes west to get to an excellent place for breakfast or lunch, 'earth shop and cafe'.

the hotel is near hiking trails. it is possible to reach trails just behind the hotel. the area allows easy access to places of interest, as well as being in a quiet zone, away from noise.

the staff is friendly and helpful (most of them, at least). the reception staff were efficient, sorting out our needs quickly. housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything super clean and well kept .

the restaurant offers takeaway options. the pool bar serves food and drinks. the food and drinks are fairly priced. the hotel provides a breakfast buffet with decent variety to kick off the day.

Excellent Stay with Great Amenities

The apartment was completely furnished! It included a well-equipped kitchen. The fitness room had adequate equipment for a good workout. I especially appreciated the excellent and attentive service I received . The staff was always ready to help with a smile.
The pool was a little chilly, though it was mid-February. I found it a very slight inconvenience.

The location is near beaches and coves with amazing cliffs. It is a short walk away. Parking was conveniently located right outside our door. This made access very easy. Benagil caves were a short drive away. I found this very useful.

i liked the location , it was close to the beach and the town was within walking distance. the apartment was spacious and clean , which i appreciated.
the walls were thin , i could hear everything my neighbors were doing , which was annoying. also , some of the reception staff seemed cranky , i did not appreciate that attitude.
